Calamity Cash Fan Appreciation Week 2: Shea Black

I've been a bit worried people aren't enjoy the comic.

Turns out Shea is enjoying it enough for everyone.

This... is classic Shea, and one of those pictures I got that crystallized what we'd done with this book. Realize, I spent the bulk of high school talking about how I'd write comics some day, and the person who had to listen to all that was Shea here. An accomplished artist and sculptor in his own right, with tons of talent and a style that hearkens back to a bit of Jack Kirby, having one of the guys I've talked the most about comics with reading a book I wrote?

Thank you, Shea. For buying the book, but also reminding me of the accomplishment of what we did.
